Wait! What the F have I done? I just booked a boudoir session and now I'm completely freaking out.

Don't worry about a thing. We prefer to schedule a consult session with each client to discuss their needs and understand what they are looking for. During this consult, you will find it is a great process to establish trust and build a relationship with your photographer. We will be with you every step of the way.

Start looking at yourself in the mirror, first your face, then full body, then unclothed.

Spend one to five minutes every day before your shoot looking at yourself in the mirror while saying positive affirmations about yourself, such as, "Look how beautiful my eyes are today," or "My hair looks perfect when I have it up.". Repeat this daily.

Embrace positive affirmations about your body! I encourage you to start jotting down affirmations about yourself and recite them aloud in front of a mirror. It might feel a bit awkward at first, but trust me, they truly make a difference. When you approach your session believing you are amazing, attractive, beautiful, and deserving, you’ll experience so much more fulfillment. You’ll feel your worth, and it will boost your confidence tremendously. We’re here to support you with affirmations and guide you on how to weave them into your daily life. I promise you’ll never regret treating yourself with kindness!

Pamper Yourself

In the days leading up to your session, take some time to practice deeper self-care. Get enough rest, eat a lot of nutritious food, and spend some time doing what relaxes you. You can get into a warm bath, get a massage, or indulge in whatever makes you feel calm and centered. Taking care of yourself like this will help you connect with your body and feel better in your skin. Hydrate heavily the week before and during your shoot to help your skin glow and look smooth.

This is a Celebration

This whole experience is meant to be about you embracing your uniqueness and having fun in the process. Focus on the experience itself, rather than obsessing over every pose or angle. Trust your photographer’s guidance and allow yourself to simply be.

Embrace the journey

Remember that feeling nervous is a normal part of stepping outside of your comfort zone. This means you’re growing and embracing new experiences, which won’t always feel comfortable, but it will reward you more than you may expect. So take a deep breath, trust the process, and let your inner goddess shine.
